Here we go again with the panicking:francis:

What panicking? :dwillhuh:

This team has played like this all year.

Teague's numbers are down from last yr
Korver is putting up career WOAT numbers from 3
Bench has been abysmal (THJR, Splitter & Holiday have had little to no impact)

Outside of Millsap and Baze's ascension what is there to be excited about on this team? They peaked last yr and look ripe to get knocked out in the first round. I'm not impressed by being the #4 seed after being #1 last yr

The bench is coming around. We going to ignore mike scott, Dennis, splitter, and thJr improving over the last 10 or so games?

I agree about Teague and im kinda getting tired of his act. As far as Korver, I rather have his shooting peak later than now. Tim will surely eat into his minutes if he keeps out producing Korver imo.

This team is better. Maybe not the starting 5 but we were paper thin last year.

Unlike last year we have a reason to play the last 30 games. Get more continuity with the new guys and head into the postseason with the team running on full cylinders.

No way we lose in the 1st round btw:dahell:

I can't agree, fam. This team is markedly worse off than last year's squad, for all the reasons @AVXL stated.

Most significantly, we are 29th in the league in rebounding, have ZERO inside presence, and are getting DESTROYED in the paint and on the boards by cats we have no business letting get off like that.

Unless that gets addressed IMMEDIATELY, it's delusional to think this team can compete for the East title.

Major moves need to be made, or this team as currently constructed will be a perpetually "stuck in the 4th/5th seed for years" kinda squad. :manny:

What does improvement mean tho? Splitter's soft as shyt and not giving us the inside presence we thought he would. He's not a big rebounder for us at all

Dennis has been up & down all yr, same as Mike Scott. THJR playing is a welcome sign but I'm still not sure what we have in him. A 10 game sample size isn't gonna make me ignore a half season of mediocrity from the bench

I think Korver is done. It would be great if him & the team got in a run to go into the playoffs, but I haven't seen anything to suggest that's gonna happen

And I'm not sure who you see us having an advantage against come playoff time, but there's not a matchup I feel strongly about with this current lineup

BTW, the Hawks Sales team reached out to me last week about getting box suites (obviously very different from this time a year ago when we reached out to them, but anyway :pachaha:), would y'all still be interested in catching a game?

If Jeff is really hurt, dude need to sit down because he's not helping right now.

He's not even consistently finishing games now...his lack of energy makes sense if he is hurt but even when he's been healthy he still plays like this. But I agree if he's hurt he needs to sit down somewhere

What big do you want? Splitter has been banging and finishing better around the rim. Splitters passing has been great too. I think yall forget we had sorry ass peri antic last yr.

I say the last 10 because that's how u notice a trend. And that's about when coach bud said he has his 10 man rotation.

Dennis has been amazing, that's undeniable. And you would be surprised mike scott over the last 15 games is shooting at an eFG of 60%. That's very good.

You gotta remember the bench struggles were partly because coach bud was tinkering a lot early in the season. Getting edy holiday and Patterson some burn. Now that the lineups are solidified it's about continuity. No reason to rest.

Also @Jerz-2 the difference between 29th and top 5 rebounding is 5 rebounds per game. That is not grounds for this team to be blown up. We don't go after offensive boards by design so the stat is kind of overstated. Some ppl wanted Monroe and look where Detroit and Milwaukee are now vs last yr:francis:
