D4L gets a bad rep because they were one of the most successful.

there were plenty of joints that were worst from the crunk/snap/ringtone days.

I knew it was a wrap when this became a hit. and this was before D4L blew up.

the truth of the matter is all rap turned corny as fukk once it became less abstract.....producers stopped digging, MCs started rapping in full, cleanly structured and punctuated sentences made easy for all to swallow. All rappers began using their normal, "conversational" voice as their delivery ( rap is an ART and in art u can be whoever the fukk u want...cartoon characters like Onyx and Busta are some of our greatest entertainers). truth be told...that was the downfall even moreso than the straight up ******ation comin out the south.
