D4L's "Laffy Taffy" has to be the worst rap song of the last decade.

FOH, all these songs bump they just in a different lane of rap, the party rap lane.

you know, there is a such thing as quality party music. hip-hop was built off of it actually.

making a party song isn't grounds to be excused for wackness.

stop bringing us down man. 90% of these links are garbage b.

Yeah
I doubt it's the wackest; not to mention that I've stood against the walls of so many parties and received such great grinds off of it that im hard pressed to even call it for what it is..wack!..
There is some song out now though where all the guy says throughout the song is "Versace Versace Versace" .. and another where the dude says over and over,"Im different yea Im different"...and then directly after saying how different he is(and saying it over and over, mind you) he then says "pull up to the scene with my ceiling missing" smh one of the most generic, typical, mainstream materialistic things to say. Just another nikkar c00n jiggaboo. Those two are wacker than the D4L joint to me because at least they know they're just 'feel good' music. These other cats think they're actually doing something. I am very sad to say/admit that rap took a serious nose dive when the south became 'popular'. And it all started with that cash money records snap music and dudes lil john etc., that era, those early 2000's..well..hip hop hasn't recovered yet from it.. and now the ignorance that used to only be predominantly common in the south has spread, thru rap, all over the place now smh.
:salute:

All this misdirected hate towards the artist and music like this should be directed towards the labels, radio stations etc who overplayed it and pushed it on the audience with no counter balance of more conscious music

yea.

ive been on record for the past decade saying that they purposely pushed this bullchit.

its not like this chit was really selling like that. so why was it so "dominant"?

I remember D4L's album flopped hard. then I turn around and theyre getting even more airplay than they were before the brick.

That's not the problem that they were fun, the problem was that those "fun" type of songs was all that was played during that era.

Exactly.

This song was getting crazy play, while acts like Little Brother were getting blacklisted for no reason at all.

BET stopped playing de la soul videos because they "aren't into breaking new acts".

RIP RAP CITY.

im not even into little brother or de la soul, but theres no way they wouldn't have gotten play on rap city before Viacom and Stephen hill.

Did I say I thought it was hip hop? No, did I say it was a lyrical masterpiece? No; I said it slapped, so why the fukk are you even tripping on me? And I could give a fukk less if you remember hip hop at it's finest, you're still looking like a lame ass nikka right now. If I liked it, then I liked it; and you can't say shyt to change that.
Why you getting all emotional over this gay ass shyt nikka. If you like it koo your opinion is your opinion.. my opinion is your tast in music sucks. Its just an opinion all these emotional responses from you is telling to the type of nikka you are and shows why you like snapping your fingers and droping your hips to the beat. Do you breh
