Either way, Cyberpunk certainly isn't RPG of the year. The RPG mechanics are pretty thin

they really are...it’s probably why I’m enjoying it so much...RPGs rarely hold my attention this long

Lies. We see in this thread people been playing for hours and still learning the mechanics. The RPG mechanics in this game are deeper than anything else called an RPG lately.
