Man y are yall juelzing so damn hard....
yall know what this is stop it.

Who TF is better.

We do this all the time on here; now everyone acting confused and brand new :francis:

if this was camel VS nas there wouldn't we wouldn't be pulling out the rule books n shyt FOH :russ:

Pick a side

I thought it was obvious whose side I picked lol. I meant that it's disrespectful to put Larry in the same tier as Spitta as a rhymer. With all due respect to Larry, this is not at all like asking about Jay vs Nas. Larry, is not touching Spitta as an emcee.

I fukk with his music super hard but dude can't even get through a whole freestlye on Sway. Spitta would never :picard:

I've only heard a handful of songs from Larry June and a few features but he sounds like he's freestyling on every one. Not in a good way either.
No lie I'd almost rather a Larry album of him singing and harmonizing. That's my favorite shyt of his. I think he's cool as fukk and makes enjoyable music, but he's a solid level below Currensy on the pen game and on the deliveries and flows.

Currensy isn't necessarily a super dynamic artist, but he has a lot more flows, pockets, cadences, and a lot more clever wordplay. 95% of Larry's raps are super basic 1 and 2 syllable rhyme schemes.

This thread is disrespectful.

I been fukkin with June since I heard him on this joint off Fire in the Clouds, went n did my due diligence n been a fan since of tellin women random variations of "bytch don't check me check your tire pressure, check ya temperature, check ya credit report, check ya engine light...."

But to even compare Spitta's history & overall legacy to his is criminal. Way more skin in the game, yeah Larry talk that talk and I respect it cause he carved his own lane with Midnight Organic & the whole Healthy brand, but the waves Spitta done pioneered put him way ahead of June. Curren$y just up now doin the shyt that's fun & cool to him like hosting car meets & spending time with his son, marketing the brands he already got n shyt.... Larry a whole 10 years younger than Spitta he still in his prime, he been in his mode the past 4-5 years as he should be.

& I done been beside both of em in real time, Larry came over to my section at a concert n was rapping to the whole venue literally right beside me and Spitta gave me a whole drop after 1 of his shows 2 years ago now but I done seen him multiple times...

Bottom line I fukk with both campaigns but it's levels to it... Spitta king of the underground, father of too many rappers who openly gave him props on their rise.

Obligatory to negate the bullshyt of this thread:

Spitta is a far superior rapper. But imo haven't enjoyed a string of his albums like I did Larry June's work from 2018-2022. Dude literally dropped gems back to back for damn near 3 years. His shyt is just more fun to listen to, especially the projects with Cardo.

this is disrespectful to spitta

This right here.

Spitta's already a legend. He's much better than Larry. It's not even close and I like Larry's music.

But you can tell a lot of people on here missed Spitta's classic run. You kinda have to f*ck with both of their catalogues to judge.

curren$y’s run from ‘09-‘12 takes a colossal shyt on anything larry june has ever released.

spitta released probably like 10-20 projects in that short window that would’ve had him set his whole career.

this is only debatable if we’re talking current spitta vs current larry.

I think people slept on some of his newer shyt. This album dropped a couple years with trauma tone.....stays in my rotation they were a dope pairing

Currency got that HARD shyt and can do that chill shyt....I aint ever heard June snap.

June is like Saturday morning music chilling...or Monday morning back on the grind motivational music on the commute... :russ:

Spitta is evening music hitting the pavement already on one :mjlit:

These hands down my 3 favorite spitta tracks.

I fukk with a lot of Junes shyt.....and I've seen the doc of him recording. He's always sitting down n u can hear it :dead:

I think he capable of standing up and really spitting some shyt does he have anything like these in the cut?

Larry June kind of remind me of A$AP rocky in a lot of ways.

They really got their niche down and do a great job presenting the package :dame:
