the production on this style of rap is IMO an offshoot of cloud rap from the blog era. laid back rap to smoke too

a lot of Gunna's music is in this lane sonically

My point exactly.

Larry basically took Spitta's whole vibe and style, and then mixed that with Dom Kennedy's sh*t.

His early records didn't sound anything like this. Then he took from the greats and came up with this new thing he's doing now. But it's all sh*t we've seen before from better artists. He's running with it.

I think people slept on some of his newer shyt. This album dropped a couple years with trauma tone.....stays in my rotation they were a dope pairing

This album was fire



He went on run a couple of years ago when he was doing producer artist projects with Alchemist, Harry Fraud, Well Fargo, etc and they were all dope. Regatta was incredible
