If Curren$y continues to keeps this up:damn:, I might have to take in serious consideration of rearranging my Top 5:ohhh:, of GOAT Southern rappers:jawalrus: Stove Top, Vintage Vineyard, Stolen, Grew Up In This, El Camino, Hi-Top Whites (I REPEAT HI-TOP WHITES), and FO:ohlawd: Spitta's ear for beats is immaculate:lawd: Thelonious Martin and Cardo got that 90s Beatminerz/General Hospital (Sonny & Brenda circa) jazzy production:banderas: It's amazing how he keeps giving out pristine projects like this out for free:mindblown: This is better than most these negroes albums:noah: And, I'm happy to hear Spitta spittin those Pilot Talks/Covert Coup type bars again:blessed: Curren$y for president:obama:...now let me get back to playing Vintage Vineyard and Hi-Top Whites on one continuous loop:wow:

ive heard enough of his music to come to a good enough decision.. no hate.. i actually listen to all music with an open ear, and rarely have i listened to more than 2 projects of artists that i just dont fukk with.. to each their own..

the beats-------> his rapping
exactly..

dudes acting like were missing out on something.. no ones even hating.. just giving an opinion.. real talk, whenever i hear dude rapping.. seems like I've already heard him say it on another album/single.. very repetitive content..

I got a homie that is just like you about spitta. Like he trys to listen to his shyt, but he cant get really into his music. But he knows why people like him though. curren$y is a niche artist, so you are not in the wrong for not feeling his music.

That's my thing. I know he has his own lane that he's in and stays true to that. I'm not saying I want him to be Young Thug or Common and step outside of what he does best, but I just can't get into em. It's like there really is no difference from the time I really started checking for him again in 2010 to the shyt he dropping today. If you heard one Curren$y tape, you've heard em all :yeshrug:

This is something I've always found interesting about rap and how people perceive it. The fact that they can say this for one artist and then act like it's not true for damn near every artist out there. I've always been of the opinion that rappers pretty much are who they are and the only thing that varies from project to project is how well they execute their vision in that time period(beats, flows etc).

Not hating your opinion, just making a note is all.

I feel you. I mean, Nas is my favorite artist ever, but he's branched out on different albums and gives you a variety though. Now that I think about that comparison though, it's not valid as Curren$y would probably branch out different musically if he had to drop official albums like Nas had too so yea, I feel ya :handshake:
