Bro remember when everybody used to say spitta raps off beat when it was just his flow patterns?

Now he actually is rapping off beat from what I can tell by them snippets and a couple past drops and I'm not happy about it. Starting to sound a bit lazy/bored and uninspired and that's not what i know him for.

Or am I tripping?

The snip aceboon posted wasn't offbeat. but that's the only snippet I heard

He sounds on point imo on the snippets that have been released so far. I agree about the lazy and offbeat uninspired flows the past couple years but that has mostly been on the trap bullshyt and I don't care for none of that shyt from Spitta all together. I liked the way he rapped on Collection Agency/Still Stoned.../Regatta for the most part, Still Stoned is my favorite Spitta release since the joint with DJ Fresh.

Negativity (Kayfabe)
Yeah they cool, but i think ultimately him (Roddy) and trademark figured they would never get paid like they wanted being on jet life records, i am going to speak on how i feel/think, when you was grinding from the bottom and been there for the whole journey when one come up, they all supposed to come up, and it didn’t happen, it seems like spitta always put himself on, and would not stand in the way, but almost was too hands off, like i don’t think spitta a snake, but he also not apt to putting things in motion for others or including them on his ventures. Roddy touched on them being in a one room Apt all going half on bills and rent, he speaks on going to ny with dame and spitta grinding only for it to get scrapped, i think the industry burned out trademark, he hasn’t really put shyt out since return of the supervillain, and that collab with him Roddy and spitta, and who knows what happened to street wiz

this song touches on roddys words, I’d be interested to know the part he says he omits

I'll check this out, later, but, yea, the days of signing under another artist should be over

Link up every now and again

But, it typicals ends the same even without snake shyt

Yea honestly i done got kinda overwhelmed by all his past few years drops tryna explore other artists (i used to be strictly spitta/wiz/Ross/drake/Wayne) and balance work and whooping ass on call of duty. I plan on going back to see if i should retract my previous statement

I don't even understand why he bothers with that shyt, he knows that sound isn't what attracted his core fanbase

I get it, sometimes you as an artist wanna challenge yourself over something different. :yeshrug:

Plus I'm sure he does club appearances and stuff every now and then and if they play his music he don't wanna have straight chill tunes for them to play in situations like that. Probably the same reason Larry June and Wiz guys like that do a trap songs here and there.
