@TheDarceKnight You know why the vinyl for this shyt is so rare my g?
@areohbee82 might know more than me, but I know they had a release in Southern California that was in store only with the original cover that you see on the streaming platforms, and then alchemist did a release with a different cover and also the instrumentals on his old Bandcamp page. I don’t know how many copies that were though.@TheDarceKnight You know why the vinyl for this shyt is so rare my g?

is it hard to find on Discogs? I usually look there before I look on eBay or Amazon marketplace. If you have a hard time finding one I can try to ask around in some circles and see if somebody wants to trade or something like that
@TheDarceKnight Smh, that's sad. I didnt think to check Discogs but I just did and them nikkas hitting for 150 and up. Some nikka even got it going for a whole rack
And all the other Vinyl sites I been too are sold out. nikkas taxing on Ebay too, 200 and up.
I thought maybe they didn't press that many copies because of lack of promotion (by Gibb's words in the JB interview) or something.
Now everybody tryna crack heads for the shyt when a nikka just tryna get his vinyl collection up
Al said he’s likely to do pre-orders for the tea in China deluxe. I don’t know if he’ll do it for Lulu deluxe because I think the copies were pressed up months ago, but I do think for some upcoming drops he will start using Gibbs’ approach. I love how Gibbs does it. It’s so stress free.Alc does limited releases with all of his shyt and then the vinyl price gets pushed way up. It was smart initially because it's cultivated this cult like demand for anything he drops, but at this point there's clearly massive demand so I don't know why he doesn't just press more copies and capitalise on the buzz.
Alfredo was available everywhere though so I'm hoping Freddie's approach rubs off on Al and we start to get more copies pressed of each album/project.

Alc’s drops used to not be so hard to get. The Griselda hype-beast crowd started making it worse when Alc started working with them more. The 94 Ghost and beyond is when Alc’s vinyls started getting way harder to get. Before then as long as you didn’t move in slow motion you could get a copy. Covert Coup was the last one I was able to get and then I stopped trying. Not worth the stress.
Love Now & Later Gators. I'm singing that hook all the time.
You know it's alright, baby
All night, baby
Ay, ay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
You know it's alright, baby
We goin' all night, baby (Ay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah)
I love the blasphemy when gospel gets flipped into some scandalous shytDidnt know Now n Later Gators was a gospel flip
And you know it's all white baby aye yea yea yea
Last thing I’ll say too. Switching from Bandcamp to Shopify hurt us. It’s easier for the merchants so I get it. But I used to work in web design and Shopify’s platform is much easier for bots to get through on. Bandcamp’s platform was harder to make bots for and the playing field was more even.Hard bro, I just resigned myself to the fact that I won't be able to cop anything he drops. No way I'm paying those ridiculous resale values either.
Fingers crossed Tea In China Deluxe bucks the trend.
