It's dope to see that their reaction to this project matches everyone else's. Seems like everyone has the same opinions.

- It was an unexpected project
- It's hard to believe they made it in 2 days
- Now and Later Gators isn't bad but it's almost everyone's least favorite
- Location Remote is crazy
- Willie Lloyd is fukking crazy
- They wish No Window Tints was longer
- Tapatio is the most slept on track
- It's one of the best projects of the year
- It's got mad replay value
- They want a sequel
- They want a Gibbs and Al project

shyt this tape done got me inspired to make beats again. Lol you can tell which producer influenced me

Am i in the minority that like the remix album of carrolton heist better than the OG?
Honestly you probably are. The original Heist sounded more like a real album and less like a collection of songs. The remix version of Heist took me back to the 'collection of songs' feel.

I liked the remix album for Heist a lot and it put me on to cats like Knxledge, Samiyam, and Budgie.

In general I just can't think of many if any remix albums I like better than the originals. NxWorries is a good recent example. I like the remix album but I just know Paak wasn't actually recording over those remix beats so it's hard for me to prefer them over the originals.

There are lots of various remixes that I like better than OG songs over the years but in terms of a whole album? Not many.

The remix project was very slept on though I'll give you that. Basically no one even talked about it.

hadn't looked at this thread in a minute. still gets pretty much daily play, had no clue that people don't really fukk with now and later gators. that, willie lloyd and tapatio were immediately my favorite songs.

also yeah alan and otis is definitely just alachemist and madlib but i cracked the fukk up when i saw somebody throw otis redding and alan parsons out there for no reason.

maybe otis clay and alan tew! shuggie otis and alan shorter, alan tew, alan silva. i'm short on otis ideas right now.

Maybe not on here but that shyt is a hit on Gibbs tour. Every time he does a show the entire crowd sings it.

Fred.
I may have started that in this thread. I was just saying that it stands out from the rest of the album like a sore thumb. Not in a bad way at all. I sing that shyt every time it plays. It just feels more like it belongs on a true Gibbs solo project and is the one joint that really stands out as different. I don't think anyone dislikes it though. The hook is catchy as hell.
