I know exactly where I was when I first heard the beat kick in on Scottie Pippens. And then the Gibbs verse, my God. One of the great moments in American history.Scottie Pippens to me is maybe a top 10-15 track of the 2010's. It's a first ballot hall of fame track.
These 3 guys can collab as much as they want and Scottie Pippens will for better or worse stand above whatever they record for the rest of time.

And the weird mix of the two samples makes it legendary, too.
Like, how did Al think to put this and this together?
Time coded so just hit play:
shyt is genius.

That's why I love going through early 90s shyt from before the Biz Markie lawsuit and seeing how cats like Dr. Dre and the Bomb Squad would just seamlessly stack a million different samples on each other.
Damn I had heard the first same but not the second. That’s crazy. A lot of ppl don’t realize how hard it is to layer multiple samples for melodies and have it not sound like shyt, let alone sound good. Only a few producers have made careers off being able to pull that off.
Thanks for posting that.
Not factsFreddie energy was wild on here. washed Spitta throughout the tape, shyt dope nonetheless. Glad they paid respects to Mac Miller.
Westside Gunn would've been a SICK feature on a couple of these.
