So in terms of art/style/graphics or however you want to put it, I can see why this game took so damn long to make (7 years or so). The whole thing is detailed to the text messages after you die with character on top of it.
This has lived up to the hype and everyone should give it a try. Almost feels ridiculous that it's only $20

I might be able to get this for $10 since I have the free $10 Amazon and I can get a Xbox gift card
I’m on the treetop level. I like it. But my patience and/or skill is diminished.

$20 is priced correctly.
This game is like @winb83 mentioned.
It’s only bosses. I was under the assumption it would be more akin to Mario, donkey Kong, contra, or mega man.
It’s basically Mega Man (or contra) stripped down to just the boss fights with way less upgrades, and no boss weakness. No actual “levels” at all.
The art is cool and some of these bosses are creative, but there isn’t anything we haven’t seen before in this game outside of the art.
Still, I would reccomend it to any person with an Xbox.

They said from jump it was only bosses. They added the run n gun levels after they got more time/money to make the game.
And I wouldn't say there are any new ideas, but I can't think of any game that threw them all at you at once in a way that was still balanced and fair.

For what the game offers, it is very polished.

well thats kinda wrong the one's with the red circle are levels with boss fights at the end but they're like 1 phase some stages have a boss fight in the middle of a stage
