So I hate to put this out so early, but cuphead is another reminder that gamers today are soft.
This game is definitely "challenging", but it is NOWHERE near as tough as people thought it was going to be. If you can't get an A+ rather easily in these first levels I don't know what to tell you. It took me a few tries to get the parry system down perfectly, but once you get that down you can easily get the 3 parries each level and boss battles
Not a good sign when I have slowly transitioned into a casual and see how weak these "tough games" are
I was expecting Ninja Gaiden type of bullshyt, but have not been stuck in a level yet. I am really enjoying it and will likely finish it tomorrow.

I played a bit of Divinity:OS II at 5K all ultra and it looked so good too
It feels good to be back.
I think I'm gonna play Divinity II first. It seems like if I can get used to the combat, I'll probably like it a lot
Beat the first 3 bosses before heading out.
The art direction on this game is dope.
Controls are tight.
Music is fitting.
Not difficult at all so far.
In my short time so far the game is cool. Not incredible, but the genre itself is very limited so I’m not knocking it too much.

I don't think this is really a side scroller. It's mostly a series of boss fights one after another.

Nah I just wanted to get the A+ score but kept getting caught one time with the 3rd eye ray. I didn’t die once in the boss battle.
