The whole city is trash. No panhandling laws in effect and people every sec on every block and even in the trains just randomly coming into your space annoying you about giving them money

You can’t even take a piss anywhere if its overnight. I never got why this city don’t have 24/7 urinals or something. I know I went off topic but man such a garbage trash city

Then you got the annoying ass rats that seem to multiply by 100 in the past 2 years . Can’t walk after late hours without stepping by on

On the topic of the trains themselves still no barrier and if I wanted to I can follow 88m3 and push him on the tracks just like that

All this OMNI shyt and fancy new stations in Astoria and UWS and fancy art mosaics but train still slow and delayed as shyt, it’s despicable. That should be the number one priority, focus on delays. And yea the homeless problem on the train is a reflection of the homeless problem of the city. I don’t believe anything when they say the trains are getting better because it is not true, I don’t not remember a day in the last 1 year where my express train actually went fast all the way, most of the time it’s getting lapped by the local train.

Breh the 4 and 5 express is so bad with delays I just end up staying on the 6 local

Also getting home during rush hour is a nightmare, I would prefer leaving work later or going to work earlier just to avoid rush hour

It's bad when you get on a crowded train but when the train is so crowded that you can't even get on is much worse

and don't get me started on the buses lol

I went to Hunter for grad school and leaving at 8:30 pm and 9:30 pm was like night and day. Trying to get on the 6 at 8:30 was impossible b/c the train would pull in packed and nobody was getting off :francis: 9:30, the train was damn near empty. I just took the f or q to 34th and walked to penn some nights. And with eastside access opening in a few years, it's only gonna get worse on the 4 5 6.

The one savior has been the new ferrys. Not too many people know about it yet and as long as the tourists stay away from them then that should work.

Also wtf happened with the 2nd avenue line?

They're doing 2nd ave in phases. Phase 1 is done. Phase 2 is 96th street to 125th street. The EIS was finished last year so they should start construction soon. And by soon, I mean a couple years probably. Phases 3 & 4 have no funding so who knows when those will be done. I'd be surprised if they're finished in my lifetime.

Don't forget the $418 million in overtime uncle Guido made for his "putting a band-aid on a bullet wound" work last year...

A single employee on the LIRR raked in 436k last year stamping tickets...:russ:

I'm not even mad, I salute that hustle but how they keep getting away with this robbery is truly amazing...

At least Cuomo finally called them out for their blatant thievery but aint shyt going to change...

Long awaited if you ask me. I haven’t worked that corridor in years but when I was there, that F express is sorely needed.

And for those folks from church to Bergen who need local service, the G covers that. I can see a sketchy area from 7th ave to Bergen st who need to be on 6 ave would have a shytty commute, but I don’t think much of it. It’s only 4 trains using the express route.

Even then, I’m almost certain those express trains would be a R160 where there should be no confusion with automated / canned announcements.
