Hes right. You got posters laughing at babies getting their heads ripped off. This is where we're at. A numb people. How many people heard about this shooting and was like *true* and went back to talkin about how nice chief keefs album is. The outrage is expected more because its white kids but now, even they are feeling the effects of MEH as people continue to give less of a fukk. Its so demonic.

why do you even bother signing in with these aliases? it's really weird...

Who said this was normal? Who's accepting this? What are you talking about?

I said it's BECOMING normal and that's what's disturbing. People want to blame it on guns, lack of God, video games, or whatever but I think it all boils down to the fact that this is becoming a nation of dirtbags.

what does that mean though? is there a reason this is becoming a nation of dirtbags?

This culture is too desensitized that's the problem. Nobody has a sense of right or wrong anymore, everything is encouraged, everything is accepted, and then when the extreme outcomes come to pass we all act shocked and appalled....rinse, repeat. And deep down we may be enjoying this because it gives us something to "talk about." It's sickening man. I usually try to ignore shyt like this and keep it moving but 20 kids? There is something seriously wrong with the makeup of this country if this kind of thing is becoming the norm. At least other countries that are war torn/poverty stricken have an excuse when violence erupts, but what excuse do we have? This society is headed down the tubes and this country will destroy itself, eventually. I just hope the knicks win a title before it all goes down :sadcam:

Breh, I think you've been neglecting history books. Crack one open so you can put a tragedy like this, and your opinion that violent acts are some newfound phenomenon, in a more apporpriate frame.

So lets flesh this out --- the children sealed their fate because this particular school isnt a house of worship; so the fact that individually they may have followed the word couldnt save them? If thats an established religious line of reasoning, then wouldnt that apply to Huckabee and any other practicing Christian, who finds him or herself in a physical secular space? If so, what does that say about God and his benevolent ways?

Thats a psychotic rationalization, which falls apart with even the slightest bit of morally-induced prodding. Scary that this nut was considered a semi-legitimate presidential candidate. He seemed like "one of the decent ones" too.

Didn't they take god out of public school a long time ago?
I'll be 64 this month and I don't recall it.

That's not a meaningful statement. Calling everyone in a nation of over 300 million people dirtbags does nothing when it comes to determining how something like this happened and how it can be prevented from happening again. It's no different than old people with holier-than-thou attitudes who blame every problem in the world on the generation that came after them. No more useful than Huckabee blaming this on not-enough-Christianity.

I think we should be thinking about why something like this happened.
  • What would motivate a man want to walk into a school and start shooting people? Did he have a history of mental illness? Was there anything in his past that indicated he might be prone to committing violent acts? Should he have been under some sort of confinement or supervision? What had he been doing in the days and weeks leading up to this?
  • How did he get the guns? Are they too easy to obtain? Do we need to take another look at our gun laws?
  • How the hell did he get inside the school, especially with weapons? Why did no one stop him? Were there metal detectors? Seems weird that an armed man could just walk inside a school with guns and not be detained by anyone.

mike is doing what i expected...steering the discussion away from culture and personal responsibility...a subtle way of excusing an atrocity committed by someone of the white race...

How many shootings happen in godless countries like Japan and Switzerland? Almost none. Huckabee is a fukkboy, get him outta here

:wtf:

Christianity is the predominant religion of Switzerland (72.1% of total resident population). 20.1% of the total population are irreligious. The largest minority religion is Islam (4.5%, figures as of 2010[2]).
