Well I know alot of red states full of poverty stricken areas (especially in the south), the worst education, bad health(care), etc...you're from Chicago a city that's always been dreary and full of gloom since the 70s but that doesn't ring true for everywhere else that's a blue area

Public assistance? it's not about public assistance it's about gentrification and rising housing costs as the reason why black people are moving away from blue cities. People I knew left the city we lived in to get public assistance in red states because they couldn't get it here..

The people who worked a job I knew traveled back and fourth, from this northern city, to states between Georgia and Texas looking for work.. Once they found work, they packed, then moved..

Im not talking about something ive read on the internet..

So Instead of trying to make my experience fit your interpretation, you should share your blue/red city experience so we can compare notes..
