Any reason for not paying the groceries with your credit card? It looks like you have the cash to pay it off.

One of the stores only accepts Debit, unless you have a Mastercard; both of mine are Visas.

The other ones do accept my credit card, so just depends on what I need.

That's crazy, never heard of that, it's usually American Express that's an issue. You in the US or abroad?

You can. Check out plastiq.com. I use it in order to spend the designated amount of money required to get the bonus points offered with new credit cards.

Fees are involved...

It really depends. Credit cards are better as far as fraud protection and building a good credit score, so they're a good look if you're disciplined enough to pay it off every month.

If you lack discipline then debit is better since you're only spending your own money and don't have to worry about paying anything later.



Personally I use my credit card for most online purchases or anyplace I don't completely trust, but if I'm at the grocery store or something I'll use debit.
