I don't claim to have knowledge of the divine, or the nature of god or anything like that but I feel like shyt like this proves somethings out there, at least to me. I consider myself a Muslim, but my interpretation of Islam is probably very outside that of some posters here, and that's fine. All I'm saying is militant atheism is kind of closed minded, there's some philosophy behind this religious stuff that maybe you could look into with an open mind.

As far as this evolution debate goes, Muslim philosophers and mathematicians a thousand years ago we're examining the possibilities of, and supposing the idea of evolution by natural selection, and observable science does not conflict with my beliefs in any way. I find science fascinating, not scary

I'm not an atheist bro, I'm just an atheist when it comes to organized religion.

Overall I'm probably an agnostic tho. Suspending judgement until more evidence is presented.


It's better to admit that you "don't know" at the present time instead of running off with a belief that has no evidence to support it.

with that said I don't just turn a blind eye to all religion. I try to have a decent understanding of as many as possible....spending my money on books and documentaries on said belief (even though I don't actually believe in it) Religion itself is fascinating to me. But its hard to keep up with every little story along with the names of these mythical nikkas too. Its alot of information to juggle bruh. My fav religion at the moment is Buddhism tho.

Now we got nikkas who decide to focus primarily on just ONE of the thousands of beliefs and then try to shyt on nikkas cause they don't know every single detail of said fictional story on some "ummm....nope ur wrong Kain actually had 4 sons..harr harrr, gotcha..ur ignorant" (don't really know how many kids this nikka had and don't give a fuk)

This is what you don't understand. Science and Islam are one. You can bring me any scientific theory. Evolution, Big Bang theory, life on other planets, I won't argue a single one. You can have all of that.

Now what I'm saying is everything you just explained to me with science, happens because of Allah's will. That's what I mean when I say "God." Not some bearded man in the clouds. Author of the Laws of Physics. You calculate the speed of light, but Allah created the light so surely He knows its speed. This knowledge existed before man stumbled upon it. And they say creationists are human-centered.

You think science is a degree above when in actuality it is far below. Everything man has learned up to this point and much more. Lots more knowledge. Things man can't even fathom yet. Universal truth. As a scientist it would be foolish to not believe in universal truth. Otherwise what are you searching for? You're searching for answers, keep searching but the answers to all those questions are known.

But rather thinking us backwards, you should start thinking of your Muslim brehs as actually a degree above science. Don't you know science contradicts itself all the time? What you call "science" I call "the part of science man has been able to figure out so far." With Allah rests all systems of knowledge, be they known to man or not.

So when Allah says he raised the heavens with pillars that you can't see, that's the irony of it, there are no pillars. Anyone who takes that as a literal pillar didn't get it so when they try to clown they end up embarrassing themselves without knowing it because at the essence of it, they're the one who didn't get it.

So keep discovering. Keep unearthing more and more and with each new discovery, every new galaxy recorded, we say All Praise is due to Allah, The Knower of All.

But you do need to educate yourselves on Islam if you are going to critique Islam. That's the only way your critique holds any weight.

It's bad enough some of you have already proven yourselves to be prejudice bigots so we're sure your critique will be biased. But at least give us a biased, semi-intelligent critique. Otherwise you continue exposing your own ignorance and as I told you before, the highest form of ignorance is to reject something you know nothing about.
