Craig Carton of WFAN gets arrested in $5.6 Million dollar ticket fraud scheme

Carton and Meli are accused of using new investor funds to repay earlier investors and other debts, including gambling debts, rather than buy tickets for resale as promised. Together they misused at least $3.6 million from two investors, according to the complaint, and Carton is accused of misusing another $2 million from one of those same investors.

Also named in the complaint are Carton's businesses, AdvanceM Ltd.; Misoluki, Inc.; Misoluki, LLC; Ticket Jones, LLC; and Tier One Tickets, LLC; and Meli's business, Advance Entertainment, LLC.

What makes this arrest even worse is that his business associate got hit with the charges in January. If you google search those businesses the Southern District of NY documents come up.

That means for the last 8/9 months he knew he was next in line and probably did nothing to keep his family above water.

I stopped listening to the show 3yrs ago, but if it's anything like I remember, his antics were still kicking.

Also the only Misoluki that comes up is tied to an NLFPA Health and Beauty Aid. He's really in some shyt if he tried to link the NFL into his scheme.

The article in the OP said that text from the investor was one of their very first customers. So pretty much, from the time they set up show the FBI has been on them.

Knowing what he knew just didn't exempt from the $ he owed. He had to keep going. His life or at least a limb or two were on the line.
He was very sloppy, it seems one investor could tell shyt was fishy, called the authorities and then they did a sting on him. There is just too much information already available to the public. They worked on this for months before arresting him. I bet the case is rock fukkin' solid.

Yeaaaaa once I saw that NFLPA article tied to Misoluki and the post about WFAN, I knew he was using his sports cred to do some shady shyt. Feds probably aren't going to open a case against WFAN, but their going to have to find out if there were any other "business partners" on the inside.
