If it was just about getting out of New Orleans why bother suing? The league just stopped him from being traded to the Lakers, not every other team. If he had preferred the Clippers to the Lakers he could have just made it clear the Clippers were his top choice and blocked the Lakers trade.

Because at that point, it didn't seem like the Clippers were going to offer up Eric Gordon AND the #1 pick and once the Lakers deal got nixed, he felt he might be stuck there for the season. Again, if he preferred the Lakers so much, why did all of the resentment and lawsuits, etc magically disappear once the Clippers trade worked out?

I don't really know if he preferred one team over the other and nothing he did really provided conclusive evidence. All we know is that he preferred both the Lakers and the Clippers over New Orleans.

The clippers didnt look as appealing before the trade was nixed so he was trying to appeal because he wasnt trying to go back to the hornets.....when the clippers got the pieces they wanted, it made the trade easier to accept and lets face it....the clippers will be better than the lakers from this year going until another Kobe comes from somewhere for that gay ass team.
