Those residents accounted for 46 percent of the 12,339 cases as of Monday morning, according to the city Department of Health. Just 40 percent of the city’s population is between those ages.

The next-highest concentration of cases is people ages 45 to 64 at 33 percent, followed by ages 65 to 74 at 11 percent, 75 and over at 8 percent and ages 0 to 17 at 3 percent.

Besides water, what other fluids?

What vitamins supplements should people be taking, if any at all?

Are there any over the counter medicines that people can take to help combat this?

Just telling infected people and those who can get infected to stay home is counterproductive. They’re isolated but they’re not combating this virus. Eventually they go back out after isolation and they’re still infected. Now what?

Since most people can ride this out without going to the hospital, they should isolate to limit the spread for the next 2-3 weeks.
