We are looking for managers’ support in helping with increased staffing requirements across our sites to support our preparation and response efforts and help keep our people, patients and communities safe.
As a priority, clinical and administrative staff that you are able to release to support these Centres should be identified first and ideally prior to the end of the day tomorrow (Thursday, March 12). Please work with your teams to help identify anyone who may be willing be redeployed or to pick up extra hours and identify these individuals to the Assessnebt cebtre utilizing the following process:
· Staff or managers can fill out this form
· Managers send completed forms – we will consider the email from the manager as their approval for the employee to be redeployed according to the availability provided
· Human Resources will assess applications and deploy staff to support critical staffing needs
· This will be communicated to sending managers at the time of assignment
There are a variety of staffing requirements presently needed across our sites and we are looking for staff from all sites to redeploy with a variety of qualifications and experience, which include all clinical staff, administrative and clerical. Some of the areas that staff will be asked to support include the following:
· Emergency Departments
· Assessment Centres
· Patient Information and support
· Entrance screening
Please note:
· Managers will still be required to process payroll for your team members if they are supporting other areas
· Staff members’ home salary rate would apply in any location they are supporting
