You are usually good for a short time after ( 4 or 5 months maybe even six )So my girl tested positive Sunday…yesterday she was weary of losing taste and smell but said she was stuffy. She’s had symptoms I didn’t have AND I am feeling back to normal (3rd day with some sense of normalcy in my body).
We been at different houses.
My concern is her coming back home how possible is it I can become sick again? I’m not trying to feel that shyt again. She wanna come home but I wanna have her wait until Sunday really. fukk that.
Have y’all heard anything about retransmission?
BUT
yeh if you got it once you can get it again
A guy I worked with got it in early 2020 he got over it - got vaxxed in May or so and got it again this past Xmas but since he was vaxxed it wasn't as bad
He lost his sense of taste both times but he says now he is real low energy and tired all the time
I want to stress this - there are PLENTY of ppl that get COVID recover and unfortunately die on their second time around from thier immune defense
And there are statistical models that seem to show that if you have a core-mprbidity ( heart issues or asthma or other chronic maladies ) you increase the odds of you dying with a year to 18 months from your core morbidity ie you mite have a stroke or heart attack or fatal asthma episode
This is not to say that being vaccinated will completely keep you from getting it again but it may be the difference in you being bed ridden and just feeling miserable
This is STILL a novell virus and doctors /scientists are still discovering shyt about COVID let alone the effects of the variants which can have different characteristics
