They generate the majority of their income from treating chronic illnesses, not preventing them.

R & D, marketing, trials, storage, transportation, etc. All that adds-up. They'd have made more money for a MUCH longer time not making vaccines at all since less people will need their services for an extended period of time if they never get sick in the first place.​

Covid-19 vaccines: the contracts, prices and profits

Sales worth $11.3bn (£8bn) were made by Pfizer in the first half of this year from the Covid-19 jab that it developed with Germany’s BioNTech. In July it lifted its 2021 sales forecast to $33.5bn.

Nope. The boosters are literally the same as the 1st and 2nd dose (both of which are also identical). If you really wanted a booster, you could just go to a clinic and claim you haven’t been vaxxed yet. Get the 1st dose then bounce...

The “booster” is really just naming and marketing tbh. It’s easier to sell someone on a booster than saying it’s a 3-shot (or more) schedule.

The virus is mutating in different places across the globe because people haven’t received their first shots due to a lack of supply. If the west keeps hoarding vaccines for boosters then developing countries won’t be able to reduce infections.

And this is why I kinda side eye some of the arguments around the unvaxxed in America being fertile ground for mutations (not saying it isn’t) when every mutation has come from overseas and there are far more people unvaxxed globally than are vaxxed.

If the goal is to end the pandemic and get business back to full steam, then it’d be beneficial to ensure the whole world can get vaxxed and “put Covid behind them”.

That is, unless there’s a different goal...

You're right driving is more dangerous than not wearing a mask so why make a big deal about wearing it? It's as simple as wearing a seat belt and they both can save you if necessary

For a lot of people, particularly the younger crowd, they only got vaxxed so they didn’t have to wear a mask indoors and the like. It’s no fun going to a social event but you can only take off your mask when seated.
