Where does it say only 6 months anywhere in there? This is on the CDC’s own website. You must know some things the experts don’t.
Only time I dont wear a mask is when I’m at the barbershop getting my shape up. I doubt I’m gonna get the vaccine, but I’m not gonna be a idiot about it at the same time. Still masking up, still washing hands frequently, still sanitizing my work stations and everything else. I could get vacc’d tomorrow and I’ll still be wearing my masking in public. Like others said, until the infected and death numbers are close to zero, we are still in a pandemic that should be taken seriously in my eyes.
I feel you breh. I personally know 3 folks who died from this shyt (including my older cousin). Even one of my homies out her in Dallas lost his mother and grandmother to that shyt.
Plus my sister caught it. My brother caught it. My younger cousin who is 25 caught it last year and was in the hospital for a few days. My older uncle caught it and was in the hospital for a month. Another older cousin caught it and was in the hospital for a week. wife's cousin caught it was in the hospital for 2 months and in a coma for 1 month of the two.
So covid has touched my family including folks I know. So I take it as no joke. I got two cousins my age who are doctors and they even been getting on family members to get the shot.
As far as me I got my first vaccine and in a few weeks will get my second. I am an asthmatic and can't play games with my lungs. Anyone that is an asthmatic understands how a simple cold can have you in the hospital if fluid gets in your lungs and you can't get it out before it hardens in a few days.
In saying all of that. Folks are free to do as they please. I am not shaming anyone who doesn't get the shot. That is their choice. But please don't go around spreading false rumors on vaccines and shyt. When children been getting vaccines for decades. Or are we gonna pretend that polio, chickenpox and measles are still epidemics amoung children?
One last thing if you ever had to travel overseas for your job or for the military. There are certain locations were they recommend that you get a vaccine. When I first started traveling to india and china for work. My company sent me to a place that handles passports and vaccinations for folks working overseas. They set you up with a visa and then you have to see a nurse and get your vaccine shots and malaria pills. Man I had to take like 5 vaccine shots just cause I was going to china and india.
I hate the spread of this misinformation. The six months is based on what they can medically determine to date based on what people who took it six months ago. They continue to test antibodies 7-8-9 months and beyond to be able to say with a reasonable degree of medical certainty it lasts that long.
You said it’s thorough protection though. Doesn’t sound that thorough if folks are still getting it, severe or not, and the “immunity” only lasts about 6 months and will require follow up booster shots.
I have the antibodies too. Last year when I caught it my symptoms were mild.
I’m not lying to myself about anything, they’re clearly still learning and figuring out how to deal with the disease. I’ll allow them to continue to develop and research a more better solution which will take years.
I hate when people say thatBut, "we outside!!!"
If the vaccines aren’t FDA approved, I don’t think they should be mandatory for admittance to any place.
I’m good with masking indoors, and keeping my distance outdoors. And since I’m not single this summer, I don’t mind.
Did you read the article?Again, it’s a “rush” vaccine, and making it mandatory but not FDA approved seems wrong.
Did you read the article?
