Tell that to the 9 people in the Yankees organization that tested positive. Got the CDC scratching their heads right now.
The vaccine did what it was supposed to. Protected them from serious symptoms and death. Nearly 8 of the 9 were asymptomatic. The CDC always said that there will be those that may still catch it even if they are fully vaccinated.

You’re free to do what you want, just don’t lie to yourself about the facts.

What doesn’t make sense? The vaccine doesn’t protect you from anything. Folks are still getting infected vaxx or not. I can get vaxx’d tomorrow and wear my mask and STILL catch it. Until Covid is s completely eradicated ill be wearing a mask in public.
then explain to me how only non vaccinated people are dying in hospitals :francis:

I commend you for wearing your mask 99% of the time

But think about how many customers your barber has in a 2 week period (ie the gestation period for covid). How close does he get to your face while he's lining you up? You share that barber breh and every droplet he comes across in that barber chair.

Mine as well have some protection in your system if it ever gets to that

Tell them what? One guy had mild symptoms. Who gives a flying fukk? That’s WHAT the vax prevents. Severe cases
You said it’s thorough protection though. Doesn’t sound that thorough if folks are still getting it, severe or not, and the “immunity” only lasts about 6 months and will require follow up booster shots.
They have antibodies. They're asymptomatic and will be fine. Hopefully those around them have antibodies too.
I have the antibodies too. Last year when I caught it my symptoms were mild.

I’m not lying to myself about anything, they’re clearly still learning and figuring out how to deal with the disease. I’ll allow them to continue to develop and research a more better solution which will take years.

A complacent attitude like this is very dangerous. It's what did for India. Everybody thought it was over. There were political rallies, religious festivals, sporting events going on with millions of people moving around the country to attend them. And after a couple of months of that it just exploded again.

Until there is an antibiotic that kills the virus in infected patients, or until the total worldwide case count drops to 0 and stays at 0 for 14 consecutive days, only a fool should think that it's over

But, "we outside!!!" :gladbron:

Who said immunity only lasts 6 months? Maybe read some updated research

This is on the CDC’s own website. You must know some things the experts don’t.

We don’t know how long protection lasts for those who are vaccinated. What we do know is that COVID-19 has caused very serious illness and death for a lot of people. If you get COVID-19, you also risk giving it to loved ones who may get very sick. Getting a COVID-19 vaccine is a safer choice.

Experts are working to learn more about both natural immunity and vaccine-induced immunity. CDC will keep the public informed as new evidence becomes available.
