@gabbo is it safe to get a haircut? I already got the fist dose of moderna about a couple weeks ago.
I’d base that all on the barbershop you go to for real. I work in construction with a bunch of MAGA retards but I don’t get too close to folks if I can help it and most job sites are pretty strict about masks. But my main barbershop is this Mexican/black spot where they don’t enforce the mask shyt really. I’d say half of folks in there at any time wear one, tho most the barbers do. I haven’t gotten it, nobody at the barbershop has gotten it, and nobody I’ve worked with have gotten it. The precautions fukking work.
Look, I’m not trying to be some conservative moron here. Covid is very real and it’s effects can be detrimental to even strong, young men. But if you haven’t gotten ya hair cut since March, I’d say that’s almost as detrimental to ya mental health. Bet your shyt looks a mess. Mr. Glass from Unbreakable hairline. Get your cut dawg if it’s that serious right now. You’ll prob have to take off the mask. If that bugs you that much, just don’t go. In the other hand, you’ve been riding it out for this long. You already got the first moderna dose. In a few weeks it’ll be a lil bit after your second and you can go get chopped up and feel more relieved about it.
Live your life dawg. Take the risks you deem necessary.
I came in this thread to say I got my second Moderna today. 3:40. My arm has been throbbing for bout an hour now. Bout the same as the first shot. Maybe a bit worse. Work tomorrow will be shytty, but being able to see my family in a few weeks after not doing so for over a year will literally be one of the best moments of my life. FaceTime ain’t even close to good enough.
I’m about to be driving to all the places around this country I’ve always said I would this summer. I feel reinvigorated about life due to this virus, as stupid as that may sound.
