We're now the country you see in the news and feel sorry for.

But even though you feel sorry for them you still don't want them coming to your country because you're afraid they'll bring thier shythole customs with them.

America has tons of problems that corona has exposed badly...longstanding issues and issues that weren't completely fixed from the 08 recession. Even after coronavirus, a lot of the peripheral problems will still exist and many won't survive. There are real infrastructural problems within all American industries that won't be addressed because the government hit the "not our problem:hubie:" and businesses will keep things business as usual as long as the money is good.

Someone tell me I'm wrong. My coworker last thursday told me her daughter had symptoms of Covid and I told her to keep her distance from me. She told me it's not a big deal and I told her it is a big deal cause i was gonna see my sister and nieces the next day. THIS bytch COUGHED AT ME. I told her, that's it you think I'm playing, you about to get fired and called the manager. She started cussing and told me she will call the cops saying I threatened her. I told her call then cause I ain't do shyt and to take her shyt and go to her floor and stay away from mine. She wouldnt leave, so I said then, fukk the food she was eating and threw it in the trash.

She got sent home, my manager ain't answer but I sent a text of her knocking over my shyt and tellin her what happen and called back 10 minutes later.

The next day I got called from the higher ups about what happened. I told them everything that happened on my side.

Now I'm being told we both getting a write up tomorrow but how is me throwing her food in the trash equivalent to her making up stories about me threatening her, coughing on me (assault) and knocking over my stuff? I'm gonna refuse the write up tomorrow because I think its unjustified but it really is a he said/she said situation.
Stop calling them. Document your story in an email and send it to your higher-ups. Tell explicitly your side of the story.

Besure you get any response to this issue in writing.

But they can't by their new yacht through the self destruction of society. Havevsome sympathy.
Any random bar owner isn’t making boat ownership money. It’s an extremely thin margin usually in the restaurant/tavern business. Their livelihoods are at risk. It should be a choice. If you want to stay home, stay home. If you want to try and keep your business going because you and your employees ability to provide for their families is dependent on working, then you should be able to. The government isn’t giving folks the ability to provide. “Stimulus” wasn’t even a months rent. Small biz bailouts? Went to the lakers, Ruth Chris and steak and shake type joints and ran out of money before they could float support to bobs tavern or many other thousands of one off places around the country. Unemployment benefits? States can’t even process most applicants who have been trying since March, and if you did get processed you are either back to work or if unemployed now they run out in a couple weeks anyways. If the government isnt going to make it feasible for families to be provided for by not working, you can’t just shut things down and say fukk your livelihood and families you built over the course of years or decades because a virus is spreading with a median death age of 80+. Want to close things down and actually mitigate the virus? Get a fukking proper support plan in place for everyone. Ensure business won’t go under. Ensure payrolls are met. Ensure bills are paid. Ensure that when you open and run at half capacity with adequate safety measures in place you won’t go out of business. Places that squashed the virus made it possible for everyone to get paid while staying home. That didn’t happen here for a large portion of the country, and folks said well fukk it, I’m getting back to work I need to eat. They tried to give 3 months. He government failed everyone. You can’t expect people to willingly step away again for months without an adequate safety net. People will rather take their chances with covid and know the fridge is full for their family that month

I’m expecting Texas to pass New Jersey in cases by the end of the week. Florida should do the same sometime next week.

Covid cases will go down by nov

If some of the red states didnt open in april....most of the country would have been in stage 4

November is 4 months away
You sure? November will be flu season. Also travel season. It's going to be bad.

This is not "over" until there's a vaccine. People need to understand and get used to that idea. And even after the vaccine it'll take months for enough people to get it to matter. We've never mass produced a vaccine under circumstances like this before...there's a high chance it won't go perfectly (in terms of mass production and distribution).

People still think this shyt is just magically going to disappear? :gucci: :mjlol:

Americans are never going to take the measures that countries that stamped out the virus have. Additionally, it’s a highly contagious respiratory virus and your ass has to breath. This shyt is not going anywhere. This is your new “normal.” As far as a vaccine, the fastest a vaccine has ever been created in human history is five years, so the timetable of one year we’ve been hearing is incredibly ambitious. I don’t think it will take five years. I don’t think it will take one either, though.

This is going to be a long road. People need to accept that and stop with the arbitrary timeframes and canards - such as - it’ll be done in the summer cause of the heat. Honestly, the fall and winter are going to be extra spooky, because you’re not going to know why people are sneezing and coughing even less than you do now, and there’s going to be way more people sneezing and coughing. It’s going to be cold/flu season. There’s going to be a lot of fear. It’s going to be a mess.

This is going to be a marathon.

Think about what this will do to jobs in the winter when multiple people have the sniffles, or a slight cough, or a runny nose. Employers are going to have to make tough decisions. Do you do nothing and allow people to come to work while under the weather, or do you take precautions and ask them to stay home? If they stay home is that PTO? What if they don't have PTO? What if someone wants to take two weeks off to quarantine?

Brehs better be thinking about this because your job could be on the line.
