Cuomo not reopening malls in NY until they change their filter systems.

“Large malls” in New York won’t be allowed to reopen until they install air-infiltration systems that block coronavirus particles, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Monday.

“There are HEPA filters — which are high-efficiency particle air filters — that can actually filter out the COVID virus,” Cuomo said at a press briefing.

“The COVID virus is .1 microns. There are HEPA filters that can filter out .01. So any malls that will open in New York, large malls, we will make it mandatory that they have air-filtration systems that can filter out the COVID virus,” he said.

And he's sending out state inspectors to make sure eateries & bars are following the rules.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo is sending state police and health investigators throughout the city Tuesday to make sure bars and restaurants are complying.

Cuomo said he’s ordered state troopers, State Liquor Authority and Health Department inspectors to monitor Tuesday night whether patrons outside pubs and at eateries open for outdoor dining are abiding by the COVID-19 health prevention measures ahead of a decision Wednesday on whether to postpone next week’s planned reopening of indoor dining.

this is what should've been done in the first fukkin place, pre-reopening

had that been the case, and had states all closed down properly we would've been seeing these cases drop.

Now I'm being told we both getting a write up tomorrow but how is me throwing her food in the trash equivalent to her making up stories about me threatening her, coughing on me (assault) and knocking over my stuff? I'm gonna refuse the write up tomorrow because I think its unjustified but it really is a he said/she said situation.

Was it a white woman Karen type? If so I would bluff and start saying you might claim some legal action. This ain’t the climate to play around with black people. And shorty said you threatened her? I would go to HR and just play that Central Park Karen video and said you’re about to hit twitter if the write up ain’t removed and you aren’t compensated somehow

I’ll never understand people getting so upset at their governors / mayors for these decisions ..to the point of trying to sue

do they think these officials are purposely trying to bring down the state that they run and have their name written all over it? Wouldn’t that look terrible on their own personal resume? :mjlol:
