Wuhan increased their testing capacity from under 100,000 to almost 500,000 per day.
Also, it seems they're mixing samples from 5 people in a single test. If the test comes out negative everyone in the group is cleared but if it comes out positive each people in the group get tested again individually.

Every time I look around, states are doing goofy shyt to downplay their numbers in terms of infections and deaths.
The “they are fluffing the numbers” cats are right, but its the other way: folks are dying offscreen. They arent seen so as far as folks are concerned, they dont count. And its anecdotal but how many “they turned us away because we didn’t exhibit enough symptoms” only to die at home has taken place?
In the end there will be historical data that will show the death rates in states far above what they are normally, with many “unknown” outside of heart disease and cancer. Brehs gonna act oblivious, but we know whats happening.
But its not your family or friends so who cares, right?
