That is not what that story stated. Reread it again. The story actually stated:

"... These eight sailors had previously tested positive and were removed from the ship in order to self-quarantine.

They had all tested negative twice before being allowed back on board before this latest incident of testing positive again for the virus.

This latest development is in addition to five other sailors aboard the ship that CNN reported earlier this week who had also again tested positive after being thought to be clear of the virus.

The carrier is heavily screening crew members for reports of symptoms. Some of the now 13 sailors who have retested positive in fact had reported symptoms to the medical crew, the official said.

Politico was the first to report on the eight additional sailors.

The official said it is not clear if sailors have somehow been re-infected or if very low levels of the virus have remained in their bodies and testing had not caught it... ."

I shouldn’t have said they as I was getting a head of myself. But that we saw headlines like this before and they (meaning past doctors) explained why this could happen.

Exactly. So much for being "shytholes". If you saw how African countries responded to this they did better than we did, supposedly the number one country in the world. They are doing aggressive identify and isolation of any cases. They could teach the US a thing or two about how to handle this shyt.

I guess it's because they are used to outbreaks and so they respond differently and always treat the shyt seriously. Probably why Asia responded better because they aren't unfamiliar with outbreaks like this. They don't think it's a game or fake news.

Man brehs I went with moms to Lowes yesterday to get some paint and shyt. Some old cac was up in the line talking to this other cac talking about "This whole thing is fake and a hoax, I've seen the undercover videos with funeral homes lying about the deaths" :snoop:

My mom was about to rock his shyt in then this breh standing in front of us doesn't even use the blue box to stand in and stands in-between both lines and doesn't go to the indian lady who's open but waits for breh at another register with a customer :gucci::mindblown:

nikkas out here are dumb af, point #1938979437493 why the US is gonna take years to recover.

:patrice:The states that are opening, are they enforcing masks? Texas? Georgia?

Depends on the place. I went to the DMV and you gotta have a mask but they got everyone in there with face shields + gloves

THIS...is what I'm thinking. Is it something like a herpes where it sticks with you forever?

If so, the concern is, can any of your flare ups kill you. Or does it become less lethal?

I was thinking more that it's happening in a relatively small number of cases. It can infect many organs but we only check for nasal presence in the RT-PCR test. It's a clear possibility IMO.

Well as stated in the video, there is more evidence of it's natural origin than manufactured. No credible evidence of the latter and more of the former. But I know we won't agree here and I know a few people put more value in the view that it is a manufactured virus. So, don't want to really dwell on that argument. Got to just accept we may have different perspective

By Alison Bevege For Daily Mail Australia

A coalition of 62 nations will support Australia's call for an independent probe into the origins of coronavirus.

The new resolution demands an independent investigation into the international response to the pandemic and the actions of the World Health Organisation.

It is backed by the entire 27-member European Union along with New Zealand, Indonesia, Japan, the UK, India, Canada, Russia, Mexico and Brazil, and is to be put to the World Health Assembly for a vote on Tuesday.

The assembly, made up of health ministers of the World Health Organisation's 194 member states, meets once a year in Geneva, Switzerland, to set health policy for the WHO.

Video discussing the status of some important Covid19 vaccines - using different approaches.

ts 23m58s

If I am not mistaken....

UK (Oxford) :myman:- Harmless chimp virus + nCov19 spike protein addition to induce antibody generation.
USA (Moderna) - mRNA virus to induce spike protein generation.. which will induce antibody generation.
Germany (Pfizer + others) - 4 types - mRNA virus / antigen spike protein virus to induce spike protein generation / antibody generation.
China (Sinovac) - weakened SARS Cov II to induce antibody generation.

I just noticed that a list of clinical trials is being maintained on wiki - COVID-19 vaccine - Wikipedia .
Oxford looks like the potential I am Legend option :picard:
