Can't forget all the tourists and commuters that pour in everyday all over each other on the train because that is still the most efficient way to get around Manhattan during the daytime.

That too. I mean tourists will be less of a problem given that many are not travelling but I can't see NYC dealing with this shyt without a vaccine or treatment. They are going to have t live with it for the time being and enforce some protective rules. You can't shut down the economy for a year there. I wonder how many in 5-10 years will look back on shutting down the economy as a mistake.

Tourists are a small part of the number. Well over a million people pour in from all the surrounding suburbs to come in working in offices, schools, hospitals, etc. Plus all the restaurants and stores that serve all these extra people. It will take some kind of special work from home ideas to make this work.

I know one thing. People ain't gonna be wearing no damn masks when it's 80 degrees outside. That shyt hot af :martin:
It was hot and humid yesterday and I wore one and it wasn't that bad. The main issue is sweating, the mask was sticking to my skin and you could see my skin though the mask cause of the sweat.

I always sweat a lot on hot days though, the mask didn't make me feel any hotter.

i thought the curve was flattened in NY wtf goin on ??

I think at this point Cuomo likes the attention and how everyone listens to him everyday.

If he’s waiting for the cases go to 0 before opening that’s not gonna happen.

Democrats have to be careful here. I get wanting to be careful and not reckless with people’s lives but if you overdo it and keep people quarantined too long it may end up helping Trump especially if the southern states that opened up end up being OK
