i just took a nonstop LA to Tokyo 11 hr flight a week and a half ago on Japan Air.

we had normal food service. people were seated 1-3 people per row of 9 seats.

when we landed in Tokyo, we were given the nasal swap test, had to fill out papers saying we will follow the mandatory 14 day quarantine upon landing.

i wore my n95 mask + a bandana the entire flight.

So how did you eat :lupe:

Yes we’re praying for that. But at this point I’ve come to grips with reality.

There will be a second wave most likely. Like @Rarely-Wrong Liggins was saying it feels like tens if not hundreds of thousands maybe even millions more will die. Doctors and nurses, nurse aids etc are being infected while wearing masks. This thing is airborne not much can be done to stop it.

We know many politicians don’t care about people’s well being and it is what it is. By the time this is done we will probably all be affected by this in one way or another.

It’s best to just be smart and do what you can to protect your small circle.

Many people are taking Mother Nature for granted, we’ve seen her power in the form of tornadoes, hurricanes etc recently we must have forgotten this side of her personality. Mother Nature doesn’t care if you can fight, have a gun, are black/white/Asian, Democrat, gay, a fear monger or a conspiracy theorist. Mother Nature moves swiftly with disregard for you and your personal life. She has destroyed civilizations and wiped out entire species without a care in the world.

Had this happened in the 1950s our response would have been better. The memory of the Spanish flu would still be fresh in the minds of those responsible and irresponsible alike. But alas we have forgotten.

This is just a part of life. We pray for the best but lessons not learned in blood are soon forgotten.

This is why historians are valuable to society. Once you forget your history, you're doomed to repeat the same mistakes that nearly destroyed you the first time (if you didn't actually get destroyed, that is).

I think there will be three waves of this shyt. I think In the summer there will be one cuz nikkaz will be reckless and want to go outside and mingle which will cause shyt to go up. Then there will be a third one in the fall which we should be able to ride out a little better.
