Nah of course

Im just saying information keeps changing and apparently people may have lost their lives because they received the wrong treatment
I think the key phrase is "certain patients". So some patients may need the vent while some may not based on what they are seeing.

Seems like some people get affected differently, which makes this new disease a bytch it seems. Not to mention only some patients also experience things like Cytokine Storms while some do not. I'd be interested in seeing when this is all said and done the full picture of what this shyt is doing to people and also a more accurate timeline of how it started.

it’s sad but a lot of doctors have no idea about this virus since it’s new and how to treat patients and are trying to just figure things out along the way as they go because it seems a lot are confused about the symptoms and the affects it’s having on patients.

well no caribana this year

@jdubnyce
@JLova

The Toronto Caribbean Carnival is being cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The festival’s board of directors says that “the priority must be the health and safety of our patrons … and there is no choice but to cancel this year’s festival.”

The festival, formerly known as Caribana, has been held for 52 years. The events planned for this July and August included the Junior King and Queen Show, Junior Parade, Adult King and Queen Show, Pan Alive and the grand finale, the Grand Parade.

The festival board said “the mass crowds that attend the events present a tremendous risk regarding the spread of the virus.”

Yea I knew it was a wrap when they cancelled PRIDE. It's going to be a really shytty summer.

Yup. Been saying this shyt for a minute now. That’s why my theory is that this is really the second wave of this that everyone is talking about and saying it would be worse. shyt was mild in the fall and they tried to tell us some strange vaping illness was going on. All those people that had a really bad flu or upper respiratory infection. Now your starting to see other countries like Japan get hit with their second wave
:francis:

This honestly corresponds with the heightened "flu" season people were seeing in the winter :damn:
:ohhh::jbhmm:

If these few short weeks have underlined anything it is not to trust the authorities on this matter. IMO their will be general rations eventually. The way I see it there already is when it comes to PPE and certain other products. In Germany you can only buy "3" of long-storable foodstuffs in supermarkets that I went to (Rewe, Real).

Buy only normal household quantities
To prevent hamster purchases, some supermarkets and discounters restrict the purchase quantity of certain products and only one or two packs per product can be bought. This mainly affects toilet paper, pasta, milk and canned food.
Still other markets do not explicitly point out the rationing of certain foods when shopping, but in individual cases limit sales at the checkout. In general, the following applies to you as a customer: think about your fellow human beings and only buy what you really need. Here we explain what you should pay particular attention to in terms of hygiene in the supermarket.
Einschränkungen bei Aldi, Rewe & Co.: Diese Corona-Regeln gelten jetzt in Supermärkten

The UK had/has restrictions too.
