When I first caught wind of this thing back in december I thought it would be some insignificant virus on a small scale that would be under control because of modern technology and wouldn't even reach the U.S. but damn jokes on me holy shyt hell is really here.
After all is said and done I can see a bunch of people making a scramble for that suburb or even rural life just to get some damn space away from people.
I definitely think that is exactly what is going to happen. I'm single, and my apartment isn't really a shoe box, but I'm feeling it. I've been thinking of getting a house, and now I really want one. I was on a voice call with my mom and aunt. While this whole situation sucks, they said they're not feeling boxed in because they still have backyards they can escape to. So I think places like NYC are going to see a more people leaving the city. Going to Long Island, Westchester and further upstate, and into NJ. Especially now that it's apparent that a lot of these jobs can be done remotely. The telecommuters at my job only come in twice a week. A few are down south and one is in Colorado. We see them like twice a year. I don't think it's going to be a mass exodus that happens quickly, but I will not be surprised if people are looking at the arm and a leg they're paying for their shoe box, and are on Zillow looking at homes, and thinking "Damn, if I had that backyard, these fukking kids could be out there and out of my damn hair."
Chinease new year too..borders should of been closed on feb 1st.You would have been 100% correct had Trump not been a fukking moron.
"Been"....what the fukk am I saying? He's still acting like a moron.

I wonder whatever happened with the recidivism cases where those that beat it were catching it again or perhaps they never really beat it in the first place? What's scary is that possibly, if you get it once, it will never really be gone until a vaccine is found. This would mean we'd never be able to be around our sick or elderly family/friends ever again without taking extreme precautions beforehand, and that it's going to be a helluva lot harder to reach the end of this situation than we're aware of right now.
As someone that was born in/grew up in a fly over city and state (Kansas City, Missouri)....you couldn't pay me to live in a big city. Especially not after this.

I posted a response to this....from a virologist (if I remember correctly), but it was like, 50 pages ago.
Basically he said there's not enough info on it. Said it could be due to human error (fukking up the tests), could be the test picking up very low levels of COVID-19, which are still in the body but essentially harmless after the people are recovering. But these test are so sensitive it could pick them up anyway.
Long story short, if this was common then we'd have a lot more info on it. So it's either extremely uncommon, or was a mistake.

As someone who grew up in the metro NYC area, and had the chance to live in a suburban area far away from all of that for an extended period of time, I totally understand where you're coming from. Even the time I spent out in Minneapolis and Salt Lake City. They're still cities, but you're not all the fukk on top of each other.
so kinda like hiv, where like people have it but have such a low viral count they don't test positive?
No funny shyt...
I remember having these corona symptoms this past winter...
Didn't even want to get out of bed
I thought it was food poisoning....
A lot of us been had it.
Globalization imploding is about the only silver lining to this mess. Sourcing crap all from 1 country China was doomed to fail.Cuomo (Governor) came out on Saturday and said tesla is months and months away. Cause most the shyt to build a ventilator comes from china. Thats why GM and the rest of these folks are months and months away from getting them built.
Also there are a bunch of other american companies trying to build ventilators now. Just like there are a bunch of companies around the world working on a vaccine for the virus.
really was looking forward to some cheeseburgers next few days..Finally got here on a day when they restocked bread...got everything I needed..than got to the cheese section and everything was gone besides a cheese wheel of some weird shyt
