My theory has always been that this virus and the stay at home mandate has become a big reminder that a lot of people basically live in a shoebox and when you gotta stay home for an extended period of time, the walls just close in you. It's easy to forget that when you're working all the time and you're out and you're looking for a reason to not be home unless you're asleep. It's easier to stay at home when your house is nice and you got room to operate. It's not as easy when you live in a cubicle with your nagging ass parents, your nagging ass wife or husband, your nagging ass siblings or your nagging ass kids and you got nowhere to go. That shyt is jail without the hour rec time.

Imagine having to stay at home and you live in those micro apartments with no window and shyt. That shyt is the hole.

After all is said and done I can see a bunch of people making a scramble for that suburb or even rural life just to get some damn space away from people.

Jump on that Tesla stock brehs

Cuomo (Governor) came out on Saturday and said tesla is months and months away. Cause most the shyt to build a ventilator comes from china. Thats why GM and the rest of these folks are months and months away from getting them built.

Also there are a bunch of other american companies trying to build ventilators now. Just like there are a bunch of companies around the world working on a vaccine for the virus.

People keep saying we unhealthy and working low wage jobs with no Paid Time Off so we stay exposing ourselves (true)

But Mexicans in the same mess too. They're not getting hit as hard as u would expect

Can be a case of many if them ain't going to the doctor. If they got symptoms.

Cause I know some of the mexicans I grew up with ain't even taken this shyt serious.

I think Boris is in big trouble. The odds are against him.

Minor tests could've been carried out at home/10 Downing Street. The fact he's going into hospital when they have limited spaces

Also him and the Health Minister Matt Hancock anaounced their positive status on the same day... Hancock is back like he never left and mingling with ppl :patrice:

When I first caught wind of this thing back in december I thought it would be some insignificant virus on a small scale that would be under control because of modern technology and wouldn't even reach the U.S. but damn jokes on me holy shyt hell is really here.
I didn't take this lightly one bit. I remember telling my wife that if this shyt came to America, it would be deadly and shut everything down. If it shut down China, what do you think it will do in America.

I definitely think that is exactly what is going to happen. I'm single, and my apartment isn't really a shoe box, but I'm feeling it. I've been thinking of getting a house, and now I really want one. I was on a voice call with my mom and aunt. While this whole situation sucks, they said they're not feeling boxed in because they still have backyards they can escape to. So I think places like NYC are going to see a more people leaving the city. Going to Long Island, Westchester and further upstate, and into NJ. Especially now that it's apparent that a lot of these jobs can be done remotely. The telecommuters at my job only come in twice a week. A few are down south and one is in Colorado. We see them like twice a year. I don't think it's going to be a mass exodus that happens quickly, but I will not be surprised if people are looking at the arm and a leg they're paying for their shoe box, and are on Zillow looking at homes, and thinking "Damn, if I had that backyard, these fukking kids could be out there and out of my damn hair."
