Their body was probably able to fight it off. Idk for sure I’m not on the frontlines. After you recover and your viral load is low or zero you should have immunityIf there is no cure/vaccine, what are these hospitals giving patients that recovered from it?
So you should just need rest, fluids and food after. But if it does cause permanent lung damage some might need oxygen tanks

time.time for your body to fight the virus plus help with secondary infection (e.g. trump's wonder cure drugs) and inability to breathe (respirators).
also there are reports that antivirals (HIV) and antibody infusions work.
plus some treatments seem to have a blocking effect on ace2 binding (something to do with zinc)
