factor stress in as well, this will take a toll on a lot of people

but at this point the whole "media hype" train probably lost steam over a week ago.

People that keep screaming that "THIS THING IS OVERBLOWN BECAUSE IT ONLY AFFECTS PEOPLE WITH UNDERLYING CONDITIONS" are grossly underestimating how unhealthy the US population is.

South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore and Vietnam are also in close proximity with China and know their tactics first hand. Taiwan specifically is viewed as part of China despite having declared their independence. They knew on Day 0, that whatever China said could not be trusted. It's ok to not know everything, but throwing around patently false claims is worse. The geopolitical tension in the region is why some responded better than others.

This.

The NHS in the UK and a study from the Neatherlands reported that a bulk of patients they are seeing are suffering from obesity. This should perk some ears up here in the states.
lines up with what I’m seeing and posted awhile back. Now the unfortunate part is most of this country is overweight

Two Doctors Log Their Days Inside NYC Emergency Rooms

Damn... in New York when you die you're instantly shipped off to be cremated (so the virus doesn't spread from your body) and the hospital texts your next of kin for efficiency

Imagine that's how you find out your loved one died and never getting to see their face again.

This is crazy

Can't believe some pockets of the population are still tin foil on this shyt

Putting there own families at risk "cus i ain't scared like yall".

The stress levels from this are going to really be something. People stress over dying, loss of a loved one, their job security, paying bills, debt, loss of their home, the stock market, pension/eetirement several times over the year. A couple at once maybe.

this virus will have people stressed about ALL of these at once.

grief counseling may be something to look into after this.

Really really ignorant perspective that you have. It’s not about being scared it’s about taking the proper precautions to protect other people
Yall have to realize alot of people dont give a damn about "others" because "others" never gave a damn about them. We're talking minorities, the poor, the social outcasts, the victims of unfair politics, some of the same people that "others" want deported out of the country and You're asking these people to give a damn about the "whole" of society? They dont give a damn about your grandmother.

That's why the full lockdown thing is a poor strategy. Many people dont and wont give a fukk. Others have to work or else. And then you have constitutional safeguards that prevent states from going the china route. So it becomes obvious that it is not feasible to keep the U.S indoors for x amount of time...UNLESS, you start pulling back on some of those rights. And I think if this continues this will be the next step. Data tracking and using it against you whether criminally or socially in the future. That's where we're headed.
