Holy shiit. What fukking realities do y'all live in? The average dual income household is like $60K
Jesus Christ
The average American makes $30K a year

I'm talking wealth not income, meaning house equity; stocks, retirement, etc.

The avg or "middle class" household has at least $100k in wealth, and I would guess at least 10% of that is liquid(stocks, savings, and/or non-retirement account investments)

I figured that don’t count…and the reason I voted no. Yea I could get that 2000 from a bunch of 6 cert family members, and pretty easily too since they know they’ll eventually get it back from me, but I don’t like asking people for money. It becomes a habit, one I don’t wanna start getting used to

Oh you meant net worth. Okay then yeah that make senses. My bad thought you meant what they bring in

It’s what you just stated. Women especially try to keep up with the Joneses. My sister got it bad, just bought a $3k purse with afterpay and she still living at my parents with her 2 kids and husband :francis:
You should bought the purse for your sister isn’t and of talking about her on the internet
I'm an old SOHH poster that was posting about bullshyt, running up in female posters, causing TLR drama and reading the newest Ether vs Takeover thread.

I'm older, married, and richer. What should I be posting about?

I don’t care what you post about. I just noticed when there’s a money thread I can find you talking about your bank account to a bunch of anonymous screen names

I would but she’s ungrateful and also refused to show up to both my children’s 1st birthdays so she’s been removed from my circle for now.
