I will say this dont think the virus is all that scary, lived through SARS and that was scary as fukk in Asia.
With that being said countries that lean-to an authoritative kind of governments will be better able to handle this. Singapore put ankle bracelets on people during the SARS outbreak to make sure they stay put.
I think China has it under control countries. It will take governments that don't have strict control in place or that lean to authoritative kind of government way longer to mobilize and will be ravaged by this honestly.
Just came from Japan at the end of January and they weren't asking or doing any kind of stringent questionnaires about your where you were before entering into Japan such as fever testing at the airports. It's like they didn't even care.
