Well brehs...my mom dodged Covid for 2.5 years only to catch a super rare cancer that metastasized all over the place before they found it, and she's got maybe 6-12 months. There's essentially nothing to do. It could be a little more or less time. She never smoke or drank, and she ate pretty well. No history of cancer in our family. I'm soul crushed. I didn't know where else to post this here that made sense. But I love a lot of you, and I wanted to share, if for no other reason than I need some love. Man my heart goes out to you. Spend as much time as you can with her and make sure her estate is in order with a will or a trust. If there is a trip she wants to take, help her if you can.

Thank you breh. Thankfully we took care of will stuff during Covid. We don't have much work to do on that end. I'll be very privileged to get her house and I'll get her pension. But god damn...it's definitely not worth it at all. And yeah, anyone reading this, make sure you have will stuff figured out with your parents and/or your kids. It sucks to think about that stuff, but it's important.

Anyways...you don't have to reply to this or anything. I'm definitely gonna take her on a trip or two.

I got COVID this week. Spread through my whole damn family (including in-laws) and we are vaxxed/boosted and had Omicron in February.

We think we got it on a plane. Make sure you N95 up on these planes. This new BA.5 variant evades vaccine and Omicron 1.0 immunity. Even the doc was shocked we got it again so soon.
