this really made me rethink my idea of how america would handle a zombie apocalypse. i can no longer say a movie character did something that was too stupid to be believable

it would be a near wrap for humanity if they are the slow zombies.
if they are fast zombies then humanity is done for.
the book World War Z is a very realistic depiction of how different nations handled the zombie apocalypse.
a guy who works for the UN is tasked with traveling the post apocalyptic world to document the who, what, when, where and whys for a report.
he wound up documenting very intimate stories from the individuals he met as well but those were all cut from the report, so he took that material and wrote a book. it's an amazing read told in a unique style. too bad the movie butchered it.
