Finally got around to ordering the free at-home test kits from Gov't. Since I hadn't ordered before, I was able to double up. Got 8 kits in total.

I've only been tested once since it all started, but good to have some reserves on deck just in case things flare up down the road.
UK government just ended that program over here.

Think it was premature.

I made sure to stock up either way. :pachaha:

man, if the US gets hit with another variant that puts up numbers death and hospitalization wise, it's a wrap.
people really don't give a fukk anymore. people have relatives and friends who have died from covid who still give no fukks.
i don't know if there is a way to counter this sentiment.

shutting the country down again seems unthinkable but then again the past two and a half years have been unthinkable.

the US is creeping up on 100,000 covid deaths btw.

I think the War in Ukraine has controlled the focus, but really as long as that goes on, COVID will just be considered a 'thing'; just because people are just getting apathetic to it. At this point, all you can really do is get your booster and wear your mask.

For the unvaccinated, its just a matter of time before they get it... you can only dodge it for so long.
