Oakland school district is being pressed by the kids and parents asking for N95 masks. If they do not distribute them to the kids within a few days everybody is going to walk out supposedly.
This government failed us...2 years now into a pandemic and we have no testing, no treatment, just "take the Vaccine". Well they did that and it aint "stopping the spread" for SHYT
That's because the pandemic is a political issue instead of a worldwide health issue.

Seems like this is quickly spiraling out of control. Who could have imagined this...
This is a societal failure. Like health care, I don't even know why anyone would want to be a teacher in this country. They aren't paid nearly enough; funding is always getting cut; they're asked to do a million things beyond the core job description, which is teach; they get blamed for any problems.
We should have been taking steps to develop curriculum for remote learning. There is no end in sight for this pandemic and it's only a matter of time before we get more variants, which will upend our vaccines like Omicron.

My kids are going back to school tomorrow. They aren't showing any symptoms, no fever since last Wednesday. My oldest cough is gone. Thank God. I am glad they're going back.
