Not saying everything would be okay now, but the CDC definitely fukked up telling everyone if they were vaxxed that they didn't need to wear masks anymore. Not so early into the pandemic, and not when it was blatantly obvious that non-vaxxed people were just waiting on the first signal that they could take their masks off and not get into any pushback.

I think so too. It's anecdotal but my roommate was more than 6 months out from his first 2 shots, didn't get the booster, and got hammered last week. Not sure if it was Delta or Omicron, but he was sick as fukk. I believe I either got it from him and had mild symptoms (runny nose and slight lower back ache) or I'm just really protected from double vaxx and boosters? Everyone around me is sick and I'm still hanging in there somehow.
