Got J&J my first time around (no ill effects on the back end other than sore arm)... What's the best booster?
I tested positive yesterday..got it from my friend who’s vaccinated. I’m double vaxxed since April, this is my second time getting it…first was Dec 2020.
this seems to be a very contagious strain…my friend passed it to at least ten people.
I woke up yesterday feeling off, had a post nasal drip, nasal congestion. Took the Binax at home rapid test, showed positive, then started looking for places around DC I could get monoclonal antibody(mab) treatment. Found a clinic that had an opening and got the injection version.

The vaccine uptake in places like Germany and Austria have been horrible.
Germany was actually the last country I would have expected such resistance.

Yeah, can't get my head around advanced/educated countries not getting vaccinated. A lot of people in Europe kept traveling throughout the pandemic too and even to hot spots.
It can't be supply issues anymore right? Are the disinformation campaigns that effective?
Is Europe chasing the the American ideal of freedom? Some friends just visited from the southwest and one is a doctor and the stories were just facepalm.
Democracy all over the world is in a backwards slide. Disinformation is going to lead to a rise of strong men and there isn't much that is being down about it unfortunately.
I have no answers beyond social media regulation or censorship.
