brehs, Ive been working from home for two weeks, last week I went to the weed dispensary to pick up some shyt and there was a line and people were talking loud af in my face

I have mild fever and sore throat today Im already isolated and shyt but when would be the time to actually phone in to the hospital and get tested ?
Im in my 30s so I think I should be alright but cotdamn

This is like 5th hand anecdotal, but philly might be the first American shytshow if this is any indication

My wife's best friend is a nurse practitioner at UPenn in Philly, says they have two doctors on ventilators suffering from severe respiratory problems. They can't get tests, so the nurses are refusing to see anyone with respiratory symptoms and sending them home to self quarantine now. She said its chaos right now

Do you have respiratory problems? If you're a heavy smoker then you're in the high risk group. Not trying to scare you but I would go to the hospital asap

Call now to get the procedure ahead of time.. call again if and when breathing becomes slightly labored is probably what they'll instruct

no, I smoke a fair amount but I laid off that last few days cuz I had to work a lot. took my temperature and very very mild fever. my dumbass stayed up almost pulled an all nighter yesterday because I had a deadline yesterday (Im a software engineer). my immune system prolly took a hit.

Ok. I'm not a doctor. But just knowing the profiles of the serious cases based on publicly available information, it's mostly really old people with pre existing respiratory problems. I didn't notice that you were 30. You'll probably be fine but I would still go in at some point assuming testing ever becomes available
