Any hopes I had that we might be able to curb climate change have been totally eradicated in the past few weeks, seeing how we've been unable to come together to fight a clear and present danger in this virus. This virus is HERE and people are acting like it's not real. I'm just gonna forget about climate change ever getting slowed down.

China is out here testing 100,000 people per day and we can't even get 10,000. This is falling directly on the "Fake News, I don't believe in science" Administration.

This is right on brand for Trump. He’s been referring to people as “consumers” and focusing on how much buying power we all supposedly have in this economy. His proposed solutions includes tax breaks and bailouts, not sick time or job security. He doesn’t actually care if people get sick and die.

And the irony is that people getting sick and dying is going to hurt the economy that he so desperately wants to keep propped up. It's not even as strong as he says it is. yeah, jobs are being created, but not very good jobs. It's a house of cards. I get that he doesn't want the markets to panic and what not right now, but he's just kicking the can down the road. The economy is going to take a hit from this. Period. Might as well step up, try to be a leader, and make the best of it. I stopped complaining (for the most part) about Trump after the first year in office, because it was too mentally taxing and fukking with my mind state; but holy shyt he's so stupid. It's infuriating.
