This was Vince's version of calling it.

He'll still be a main eventer/around the upper card, but you don't book this mess tonight and not have it be some degree of waving a white flag, even in current day WWE.

With Roman, it will depend on how much he has to do with the steroid allegations. So him taking 6 F5's could be punishment.

But then again, in Vince's coke fuelled, glass half full mentality, Roman being busted open and taking all those F5's, it will finally make the fans be more sympathetic to him.

This actually might be Vince's way of starting a Roman heel turn. I mean only time will tell of course :whoa: but don't be surprised of Roman starts a year long tear and both visibly and audibly stops caring about the fans. It would be great for him to come out tonight and talk about how he is a full timer and still gets booed and tries to have his "Die Rocky die?" moment.

They saved the coronation for the greatest royal rumble, they ain't done with Roman :mjlol:

:comeon:

Did you not watch the promo they had Joe cut on him last night? Not even senile Vince is booking an allegedly massively protected ace that way.

Reigns isn’t going away or falling to jobber status, he’s going to have title reigns and be in the upper card for probably a long time to come, but there’s difference between being John Cena and Randy Orton or, in the Attitude Era, Steve Austin and The Undertaker or Mick Foley.

Brock isn't losing that match unless something comes up where they absolutely have to get the belt off him and that seems unlikely. Vince is looking at both wiping out Punk’s place in his record books and potentially having his champion be a champion or at least be in a hugely promoted championship fight in real fighting.

We’ll come back to this post, if I’m wrong I’ll take the L, if not :sas2:

Ronda Rousey has been garnering rave reviews for her performance at WrestleMania this past Sunday. Dave Meltzer stated in the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that there is already talk in WWE of having Rousey main event next year's WrestleMania. It was also noted that WWE was interviewing women trying to get them to say that Rousey should have been in the main event of last Sunday's show.

A logical opponent for Rousey for next year's WrestleMania would be SmackDown Women's Champion Charlotte Flair.

It appears as if WWE had plans to build to a Rousey vs. Asuka match at some point. Meltzer said on the post-WrestleMania episode of Wrestling Observer Radio that when Rousey was signed, Asuka was told to do the armbar all the time. Not only did Asuka lose her undefeated streak to Charlotte this past Sunday, but Asuka was actually "banned" from using the armbar in the match.

Welp, looks like I was wrong. Just heard he retained, haven't seen the show I thought for sure Rome was winning. I take my L :francis:
