  • If you can tell me what you consider evidence or proof that supports AND refutes

  • Then I would bother but since I am not uninitiated when it comes to these discussionsI know exactly how it goes, essentially, Logical fallacies will dominate and this is pretty much where things started with the original statement that prompted my egress:whistle: and where it continues with the very next response

  • So again if you can establish the basis of that original statement and what you would accept as refutation of it, then we can continue:king::hula::cheers:
Number 1: Race and socio-economics are almost synonymous in the United States, regardless of alarming statistics that occur outside predominately black city borders.
As I stated the problem is assimilation, BLACK is a term that's very narrow in identifying people's of Africa and negative statistics, WHITE is more broad and interchangable in American socio-economics. Most blacks especially middle-class blacks have no intentions of uplifting the lower class acting as a filter in the assimilation pipeline cutting off lower class blacks from resources. Lower class blacks live in crime ridden areas with little to no resources and crime is the part of the perpetual cycle and catalyst for segregation through "class warfare".

Many college educated blacks find it difficult to utilized what they've learned and create a stable community within black America ...why? Because the resources are spread too thin considering blacks earn 20-30% less than "whites" (Latino, Asian, Jewish) for the same job. Even in sectors that practice "diversity".

So elite blacks like Cornel West feel that white elites pick and choose "worthy" blacks creating a fracturing in the black community that hurts us all.

Number 2: You under the premise that you're capable of intelligent exchange, when in actuality you just sound like a pompous idot who hasn't been called on his bullshyt ...but I can fix that. It's sad because in black communities there's nepotism practicing muthafukkas like you in positions of power and you will do nothing because you THINK you have it all figured out. When really all that you are doing is projecting your insecurities about engaging in problem solving discussions with successful outcomes. Normally I would over talk people like you, but something tells me you're too stupid to even realized when you're intellectual outmatched and disfavored, disabling you from feeling insulted.

Number 3: This would actual be redundant rehashing of Number:1 ...again group economics within the black American economy that would go towards taxpayer services in areas that need it the most, lower property taxes and recycling dollars in the community. Very much the same way whites do and fools like you oafishly fork over black money thinking "you're above" people in YOUR OWN COMMUNITY...and trust me, there's a difference. Ask Obama...which is why Cornel is tight.

Note:...this rebuttal wasn't for your so don't inflate your ego anymore than it actually is, this response was geared towards young brothers who may need to hear this in the future. I'm talking through you.

You get all your info and form your opinions based on media soundbites and shallow talking points, but you shouldn't assume every one is like you.

Japan, but from the 989
http://www.blackbluedog.com/2013/07/news/cornel-west-refers-to-msnbc-as-the-rent-a-negro-phenomenon/

Dr. Cornel West plainly stated that the recent phenomenon of lending large platforms to black liberal voices that are sympathetic to President Obama is part of a “Rent-a-Negro” strategy that puts specific black people, namely Al Sharpton, Melissa Harris-Perry and Michael Eric Dyson, in a position to keep the black community docile and quiet, even as their community suffers more than it has for the last 40 years.

Damn this nikka still mad his brother didn't get the tickets to the inauguration!?!!?? You know that's what started this shyt with Dr. West.

I'm confused about this, why did it have to be stopped :wtf:
the statement is very contradicting

during reconstruction there were bunch of black people in congress and in state legislatures,

reconstruction is the reason why when you read stories about obama or tim scott, you read sentences with caveats 'first black ______ since recunstruction

Yup. This was the FIRST complaint I heard come out of West's mouth about Obama. Had I not heard it come out of his own mouth I would never have believed it. You mad because you didn't get the hook-up???:snoop:

It has really put everything else he has said into perspective since then.

I understood all of that but in one breath he said blacks are afraid to redefine our culture, then said the 60's was too blunt and had to be stopped & then said the reconstruction era was healthy but also had to be stopped.

I guess I'm saying...which way does he want us to go? or is he speaking from the white perspective of how our progress had to be stopped.

still though, the question somewhat remains...what way should we assimilate & progress if neither of those two ways are legit for black folks in America?

I had some friends at the time who were going to the inauguration and they told me this nikka acted up about his brother not having optimal seating. Like, publicly acting a damn fool about it. And he is still salty about it? Come on brotha...come on...lol

Obviously something beyond your comprehension ...get your lol's on though.
You're an idiot.
90 percent of black folks lived in the South at the time, endured sheer terror from angry cacs and couldn't wait to migrate north.
That newfound "freedom" was a smokescreen and there was no "healthy assimilation" whatsoever.
